Big Donations
To help make this event a sucess, and raise as much money for Cystic Fibrosis Kids of Portsmouth as we can, there are a few costs that we have to pay out for first. In order to help us donate as much money as we can to CFK, we ask for sponsorship for the event. Below is the letter we send to local, and national businesses. Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to ask if you will support our charity event “The Mad Hatters Charity Tea Party” in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Kids of Portsmouth which we are holding on Castle Field, Southsea on Saturday 27th July 2013.
Cystic Fibrosis Kids is a Portsmouth based charity who work with families that have children with Cystic Fibrosis by providing equipment not available on the NHS budget, and also offering them support. There are currently around 30 + families in the Portsmouth area who have children suffering from this genetic disorder, who are given support from CFK, and that number is increasing. The event is based on "childhood memories" and incorporates local students and businesses talents and products. We aim to create a fun, lively and exciting day out in the form of a Mad Hatters Charity Tea Party. We really want to make this event the best it can be, and at the same time raise as much money as possible.
We would really appreciate any support you can give us. We are looking for sponsorship in the form of money, but also a number of items / services. In return, we have a number of opportunities for you to advertise your business.
If you are able to donate up to £50, we can offer your company a link to your website from ours.
If you are able to donate £60 or more, your company logo will go on our website homepage as an “Official Sponsor”.
If you are able to donate £100 or more, we will also add your logo on the posters we use to advertise the event.
If you are able to donate an amount substantially larger than £100, we will also give you a space at the event to have a stall of your own.
If you are unable to sponsor us with money, we would also be grateful for donations of items which can be used as prizes.
